Proper Battery Disposal!

One thing we can do to help the environment and safety of others is proper battery disposal. A lot of customers don’t know where/how to dispose of their batteries. On many occasions, we hear that customers attempt to throw old batteries into the trash, and oftentimes it’s an unsafe battery that is missing its wrap. If a metallic object within the trash meets with the battery, this could lead to some unexpected explosions/fire for the local garbage man or employee taking the trash out. Yikes! I recommend wrapping your old, unwrapped batteries in electrical tape, and visiting any local hardware or electronics store for proper battery disposal. Today’s tip!
