Benefits of Vaping over Smoking

by Vape Dojo on September 29, 2018

It’s been over a decade now since the inception of vaping and the debate continues about the benefits of vaping over smoking. Although vaping is quite a new concept in comparison to smoking, it has gained popularity very quickly. E- Cigarettes are being used around the globe and their demand is rising all the time. Many people are still dubious about the health and safety of vaping, however, the increase in vape shops and vape stores around the globe tells a story of the on-going rise in its popularity. Cigarettes contain a large amount of harmful chemicals and toxins. Nicotine, cyanide, arsenic, lead, ammonia, carbon monoxide and the list go on. There are at least 24 harmful chemicals that are produced by the act of smoking all of which can lead to cancer. On the other hand, vape juice contains far fewer chemicals. E-Liquid contains only PG, VG and flavoring. The ingredients in E-liquid PG, VG and food grade flavors are FDA approved. Smoking is associated with lung cancer, mouth cancer, respiratory and cardiovascular diseases. It has long been a proven scientific fact that smoking is injurious to health and leads to incurable disease in regular and chain smokers. This is because of the carcinogenic chemicals that are produced from the chemical reaction caused by the combustion of tobacco. Many e-cigarette users vape as a first step towards quitting the habit of smoking. There is an empirical evidence that many regular and chain smokers are reported to cease smoking for at least 3 months by using vaping as an aid to quit smoking. An added plus point of vaping is a variety of flavors available to its users. On the other hand, Cigarette users have only various tobacco to enjoy while vape juice is available in many flavors to suit the taste and preference of individual users, some examples are Apple, strawberry, caramel, menthol, cherry and chocolate just to name a few. Flavors are available from online vape shops which ship to many locations. Smoking is not only harmful to the smoker but also to the people around them. It is known as passive smoking or second-hand smoke. There is a higher than average chance of passive smokers getting coronary disease and even cancer. Vaping is far safer for people in the immediate vicinity. Vaping fumes are also odorless smoke or have a pleasant aroma. It’s a known fact that smoking itself and the litter produced is bad for the environment and unsightly, not to mention the risk of fire, many fires start each year because of carelessly discarded cigarette butts. Tobacco smoke does not only jeopardize the health of the user but also contributes to atmospheric pollution and the greenhouse effect. On the other hand, vaping does not involve that kind of risk to the environment. A remarkable benefit of vaping is its convenience. Depending on local laws You can vape in public places freely without worrying about the odor or second-hand smoke. In addition to its health, social and environmental benefits vaping is far cheaper than smoking. Though, initially you will have to buy an e-cigarette or mod to but when compared to the cost of heavily taxed tobacco products it is not expensive at all. On the other hand, smoking is an expensive habit. Another upside to vaping is that it’s free of residue, smoke and ash. You don’t have to be worried about bad odor lingering, tobacco breath and messy ash. Vaping is a better and safer option for you, the people around you and the environment. You can enjoy vaping without worrying about the effects of smoking on your health or others. Vaping is the acceptable personal and social alternative to smoking.

I hope that this blog entry will reach out to someone and help them in their time of need. If this article helps one person switch over from Cigs to vaping, then I did my job. Use these facts to help a friend and as always… Take Care & Vape On!
